Nou Servef
An innovative strategy to redefine people-centred public service through collaborative methodologies.
Nou Servef is the new design process for improving the Valencian Employment and Training Service, through the involvement of all the actors it works with. A document for the strategic innovation of an entity that has more than 1,000 employees in the provinces of Castelló, València and Alacant is designed through workshops, interviews and surveys.
The process focuses on experimenting with spaces, tools and participative methodologies that allow for new dynamics within the organisation. The aim is to detect the value of this human contribution in order to innovate, improve, grow and use it as a key factor that differentiates it from other organisations. Collaborative Innovation makes it possible to generate horizontal communication spaces where specific areas of improvement can be found, worked on and implemented through the collaboration of all the people close to the organisation: workers, citizens, companies, suppliers and collaborators.
In addition, a communication campaign was launched to transmit the entity’s wish to overcome the traditional administrative model and move towards a more open, closer and modern innovative model. The approach of the strategic framework, the implementation of the collaborative methodology, the analysis of the data obtained and the strategic lines proposed for the future are included in a public report that contains solutions for improving the organisation to be implemented immediately.
