Habita La Torre

2021-2022
Habita La Torre

A citizen participation process to identify needs, draw up proposals and prioritise actions in La Torre.

Habita La Torre comes up from the aim of EVha (Valencian Housing and Land Development Agency) to create spaces for dialogue with the citizens before the expansion of the public housing stock in order to take into consideration the suggestions of the local residents.

From September to December 2021, a series of open workshops were carried out to address issues such as housing, public space and agricultural heritage. Over the course of the process, different needs and ideas were collected to shape them and to articulate the resources to implement them.

As a result, a guide was produced. It includes, on the one hand, long-term proposals to be forwarded to the different administrations and, on the other hand, short-term proposals that enable public space to be activated through quick and transitory urban interventions.

We handled the following tasks
  • Ideation: Research and context
  • Coordination: Process design
  • Communication: Implementation of channels and design of campaigns
  • Facilitation: Participation dynamics
