Citizen Science Barrio del Cristo
In collaboration with the Department of Applied Physics of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), we developed a Citizen Science methodology applied to Social Life Cycle Analysis (SLA), using the Barrio del Cristo neighbourhood and its associative ecosystem as a pilot environment. Through structured questionnaires and face-to-face sessions, the participating neighbours have contributed to the identification and prioritisation of indicators linked to energy, housing comfort and the conditions of the environment in which they live. The aim is for this methodology to be replicable in different contexts to guide housing design, construction and rehabilitation processes from a socially informed perspective.
