RELATA, II Jornadas Arte y Escuela
‘RELATA. Cómo situar narrativas en el espacio público’ is a participatory methodology that proposes viewing the city through the stories of those who live there, connecting the individual, the collective and the public. Emerging from the experience of Vides Creuades, RELATA works through processes of listening, representation and shared creation to forge links with the local area.
The project has been developed in educational settings such as the Faculty of Fine Arts at the UPV, as part of the II Jornadas Arte y Escuela, where the methodology was adapted for the classroom. Through cross-interviews, drawing exercises and a final collective installation, the process brings diverse experiences to light and transforms them into a shared narrative that strengthens the relationship between community, education and public space.
