Coopmmunity

Coopmmunity is a digital platform that facilitates the organisation and participation of Housing Cooperatives and their agents.

It seeks to respond to the needs for participation that exist between interested people, professionals and promoter groups, through this digital tool that facilitates interaction and decision-making.

Coopmmunity is divided into two levels of participation: Territories and Cooperatives. It provides various functionalities, such as spaces for debate, shared agendas, information repositories, a generator of proposals and votes, and the scheduling of meetings and gatherings, with the aim of strengthening the ecosystem of people and agents that promote Cooperative Housing in Transfer of Use.

The development of the minimum viable product of Coopmmunity has been funded by the European Innovation Council and EISMEA (COSME-SMP-2021- CLUSTER. FRIEND CCI PROJECT). During 2024 and 2025 the application is developed with the creation of a prototype based on Decidim, an open source software, which encourages participation in civic, public and private organisations. The design and validation of the platform has been carried out by incorporating end-users through co-design tools and usability testing with end-users.

The platform is currently active for the territories of Valencia and Lisbon, as well as for groups promoting Cooperative Housing in Transfer of Use.
