Mediation for Next Generation rehabilitation programmes

The mediation process for the renovation of buildings and homes aims to ensure that public programmes effectively reach the communities for which they were designed. Beyond simply disseminating information, the aim is to support, interpret and make available the resources on offer, placing people at the heart of the process of improving their homes.

In the Housing Programme, we have worked with residents from different neighbourhoods in the city of Valencia to inform them about energy-efficiency renovation grants under the programmes promoted by the Valencian Regional Government with Next Generation EU funds. The approach focuses on transforming a technical and administrative opportunity into a process that is accessible, understandable and participatory, enabling citizens to gain real and effective access to the benefits these programmes offer.
